Secondhand Study Materials
Instead of paying full price for study materials, we will establish a re-use system.
Every semester thousands of dollars worth of textbooks, lab coats, calculators, and more are thrown away when students move house, graduate or leave Melbourne. New students often purchase the exact same items weeks later.
Why this matters
Because students deserve access to affordable study materials, and the current system is wasteful and expensive.
How we implement it
We will establish a system for students to donate study materials they no longer need, and for new students to access these materials at a low cost.
