Raise up your voice

Provide representation where there currently is none, and force the university to carve out space for us, making sure we are considered and consulted on matters our voices should already have been heard on.

Grants for Indigenous students in need — we previously were able to give easy access emergency grants in the form of $100 grocery store vouchers, however this has fallen to the wayside. We will bring this back, so no Indigenous student has to go hungry, or skip groceries for the week if they miss a paycheck. We also want to bring back Under Bunjil, the student led Indigenous magazine, that allows us agency and a platform to share our talents.

Grants and emergency funding for Indigenous students

If you’re tired of having to explain yourself, or your heritage, or feel like you’re justifying yourself — us too. That’s why we want to create more events, and resources designed to educate non-Indigenous students on Australia’s harmful history (and present) as a settler-colonial state that still continues to disparage its First Nations, so that you don’t have to.
