Timely Feedback
Across faculties, all assessment results and actionable feedback should be visible to students in a timely manner.
Across all faculties, every assessment outcome and feedback must be shared with students in a predictable, timely way. Currently, assessments must be returned in time for final assessment - but the final assessment is not necessarily worth the most.
Why this matters
Able to actually take action on feedback before next assessment, esp. If content is related between assessments; otherwise if given too late not enough time to make changes Helps prioritise study across subjects i.e. need to work harder on subject than another.
How we implement it
“Assessment results” entails: Access to assessment questions Marks for every criterion of the rubric “Feedback” entails: Clear, actionable steps that can be taken to get full marks based on the style, approach of reasoning a student has used in their attempt “Timely” entails: Results delivered before next assessment or by 3 weeks “Shared” entails: Notification to student through either email or LMS grades page
