Student Talent Showcases
More showcases to celebrate Unimelb talent
Integrating more student talent showcases into existing and new UMSU events, giving students dedicated platforms and segments to perform, present, or exhibit their skills whether that's music, art, comedy, dj, or other talents.
Why this matters
Student talent across the university often goes unrecognised outside of niche clubs. Showcases build spirit, give students a reason to attend beyond food and drinks, and celebrate the diversity of skill within the Unimelb community.
How we implement it
Together will introduce a standalone monthly showcase event; open an application/sign-up process for student performers; coordinate with relevant clubs for talent pipelines across multiple campus location and departments
